In the beginning of 20th century, the immigrating famers oppose wild animals and fatal diseases to earn and live. They had a dream about their children to give good education. During the year 1932, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. T J Mathai, Tharayanil, begun this school to fulfill their dreams. He is the Founder of this Institution and named as Rev. Fr. T C M M U P School. The name was given by the memories of his father's younger brother Rev. Fr. T C Mathai. The Sponsoring body of the School is St. George Bethel Jacobite Syrian church. The land for the School donated by Ullanakunnel and Nediyapalackal families. In the first Academic year, the strength of students in 1st std was 24 boys and 18 girls.
The School is under the sponsorship of the Individual Management, St. George's Bethel Jacobite Syrian Church Mulappuram. There are 9 members in the School management committee. According to the bylaw of the School, the Vicar of the Church should be the Manager of the School. Now, Rev. Fr. Reji Paul is the Manager. School got financial and moral support from the Management.
